Pia Berg was born in Aars, Denmark the 17th of March 1956.

She began painting when she was 7 years old, and had her first exhibition the same year. After that several exhibitions followed. She is a figurative autodidakt painter who loves to paint people/ portraits, beautiful gardens and landscapes.

Both of her parents, Poul Berg and Kirsten Berg were painters, and her sister Ruth Berg is painter too.
The children René Brokop, Phillip Berg and Michelle Thomsen are also creative.
